    Our business is a steady performer, we have a roadmap we are happy with or do not feel the need for one
    We do have a business roadmap but it is immature or out of date, it does not align with a technology roadmap as we struggle to find the time to do this, or are not sure of the best approach we know we need to do better here
    We have a business roadmap it is fairly regularly updated and our process around this means it aligns with a technology roadmap to give the company an overall sense of direction we are happy with the way we are here
    Our business roadmaps are our north star our teams take an active role in helping the leadership develop them - they are bought into and believed in by all within the company and are easily accessed or on display, we would be lost without them

    We don't need a technology roadmap our teams make sure they are ok from a technology perspective, or we provide things that we feel are fit for purpose we hear few complaints

    They are considered to be well enough aligned or that they don't need to align as they are detached form one another if in fact, they both exist
    We have either one or the other or both, but they do not align we want them to but can't seem to make it happen or have tried and our approach failed we would love to get help in this area
    We have both business and technology roadmaps and they align well enough for us to perform regularly as we feel we ought to
    Our north stars of business and technology align to make advancement and changes, new product launches as painless as they can be for all. Our teams collaborate at every level to ensure this alignment to produce stunning results

    We have a fairly short horizon on vision - but that is all we need it has served us well for years or we are just starting out so don't need a long horizon
    We have a company vision, it's out of date now though and we need to sort that out
    We have a company vision, it is in handbooks and displayed on the walls, our team gets it even if they are not that enthused by it, it does it’s job for us
    Our company vision is inspirational, clear and logical, it is easily digestible and helps our teams to perform well every day as they understand the real future of the business, and are heavily invested in it because of the collaborative way in which it was produced

    We know what they are, but we don't make a fuss about them the team understands and we are content with it the way it is
    Our company values are not where they should be, our team often feels that they are adrift or unsure because of this we need to improve in this area
    We have company values, they are displayed in our buildings and our teams know what they are not everyone agrees with them - but they are effective enough for us
    Our company values are an essential part of our ways of working and culture, they are intrinsically linked to how people behave and perform in their role, as always they are created collaboratively so all levels of the business have a voice and believe in the values we have
